Nestled in a quiet area, Mystic Isle Motel provided a cozy retreat where we could make our own food at our convenience. The rooms were by far the largest in the area, offering rustic decor with neutral colors and wood-panel walls. Our spacious room featured a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, and coffee maker for a comfortable stay. With breathtaking views of Lake Superior, this motel is a landscape photographer's dream, perfect for capturing stunning shots of one of North America's most photographed landmarks. The snowmobile trail passing right by the motel added an adventurous charm to our stay. We appreciated the table lamps equipped with electric outlets, a thoughtful touch for our convenience.Free Wi-Fi and on-site parking were convenient amenities, and the proximity to beautiful beaches, waterfalls, and snowmobile trails made exploring the area a delight. The staff's warm hospitality made us feel welcome, although the recommended restaurant fell short of our expectations. However, we discovered the Embassy restaurant in downtown Wawa, which more than made up for it with delicious cuisine.In conclusion, Mystic Isle Motel offers a comfortable and spacious retreat in Wawa, Ontario, ideal for friends traveling together or a family vacation. The sandy beach and Lake Superior are just a short drive away, providing opportunities for fishing and hiking.
